Every year G&S support the Midwest Decoy Collectors Show (MDCA) by hosting a cocktail party on Wednesday evening prior to their auction that features a preview of all the decoys. This is a great opportunity for new collectors and veterans to view and handle decoys and ask questions! There is always someone close at hand to share their decoy know how!

This beautiful swan decoy by Charles Birch (1868-1956), Wills Wharf, VA. According to noted East Coast collector Wm Purnell This decoy is one of "one dozen that were made for a Talbot County, Maryland rig in the 1930's" It is one of the few that were NOT repainted and sold for $165,000 plus buyer's premium.
